Glasgow Distillery 1770 Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky
To make this rich and smoky whisky, Glasgow Distillery have taken the finest malted barley and smoked it with the aromatic heather-rich peat of the Scottish Highlands, before blending it with the purest water of the Loch Katrine.
It’s distilled in traditional copper pot stills, matured in virgin oak and is then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The result is a smooth yet smoky single malt that’s full of character.
On the nose there's a sweet-vanillary smoke with a touch of dried fruits. There’s tasting notes of dark toffee, chocolate and sage… what did we say, full of character right?
