Glasgow Distillery 1770 The Original Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This is a fantastic single malt Scotch whisky that’s been handcrafted in Glasgow Distillery’s copper pot stills (Tara and Mhairi) and is made using the finest Scottish barley and the purest of water from the Loch Katrine. The whisky is first matured in casks that were once used for bourbon, then it’s finished in virgin oak, before being filtered.
The result is a whisky that’s incredibly smooth with a fruity flavour and tones of creamy, buttery desserts like Crème brulee, shortbread and butterscotch. There’s underlying tastes of dark fruits like figs and dates and a touch of honeyed almonds.
This is a whisky that deserves to be sipped neat, or over a little ice in a tumbler.
