The history of how Glenfarclas 105 began goes back to 1968 when the original version was released for the first time.
Glenfarclas made history, becoming the first distillery to release a barrel proof single malt whisky.
The bottling eventually became known as 105, referring to its alcohol content in British Proof, the equivalent now to 60% ABV.
On the nose honey, sherry and a little nuttiness can be detected, tasting this whisky reveals oak, malt and almkonds, a good long finish that will appeal.
