Liqueurs

A liqueur is made by taking a distilled spirit and blending it with flavourings and sugar.

They’re often very sweet and lower ABV% than drinking a full-strength spirit. Liqueurs are very popular accompanied by or instead of a dessert.

Typical flavours for liqueurs are fruit, herbs or nuts. Most liqueurs range between 15% and 55% alcohol by volume.
