Luxardo Sambuca dei Cesari
Since 1821 the Luxardo family have been making world famous liqueurs and Luxardo Sambuca dei Cesari is one of them. It’s made by infusing green Sicilian aniseed, Paduan elderberries and pure grain alcohol, which are all matured together for six months in Finnish wood vats.
It can be served after dinner in true Italian style by serving with three roasted coffee beans floating on top and setting the shot alight, otherwise known as a Flaming Sambuca. However you can also just pour into shot glasses and enjoy (or for some, not enjoy) as a shot on boozy nights with friends.
