Kentucky bourbon, Bourbon Street in New Orleans… you hear ‘bourbon’ and you’re transported to the southern states of the USA, right? Bourbons are typically made from corn, as well as rye, wheat or barley and depending on the brand, there are some fruity notes chucked in there for good measure.

Overall, bourbon is a bit sweeter than your average whiskey, so it's great for sipping neat but also don’t be scared to use it as a base for wicked cocktails too.
