Maturing a whisky in three casks may sound excessive but when you taste this whisky, you’ll realise it was worth the hassle. Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, bourbon casks and Oloroso Sherry casks all play a part in bringing this whisky to life, with the sherry flavours really stealing the show, and a little nuts and citrus in the back too.
There’s also some fruity flavours like blackcurrant, which with the sweet chocolate and toffee undertones brings memories of desserts like Black Forest Gateaux.
This is a whisky that needs to be sipped neat, or with a little ice - mixers will spoil the flavours, so we’re counting on you to do the right thing.
