Mezcal

Mezcal is a distilled alcoholic beverage that originated in Mexico. It is made from the fermented juice of agave plants, primarily the species Agave angustifolia and Agave espadín.

While both Tequila and Mezcal are made from agave plants, mezcal can be produced from various agave species and has a broader range of flavors, while tequila is specifically made from the blue agave plant and has a more standardized production process.
