Benromach 15 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky -70cl
Benromach is the smallest distillery in Speyside, established in 1898 and built by the Benromach Distillery Company, it is situated to the north of Forres in Speyside.
First appearing in 2015 Benromach 15-Year-Old Malt has been matured in a mixture of ex-sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks, with a bigger emphasis on sherry than the Benromach 10-Year-Old.
On the nose, there's chocolate, caramel and wood smoke with the palate experiencing sultanas, raisins and peat smoke which is subdued by fruit and chocolate notes.
A good long finish with fruit, smoke, and chocolate all coming and going.
