Named after a castle on the Isle of Skye (Camus) overlooking the Sound of Sleat.
Spirit from Islay, Orkney and Skye was initially aged in a combination of first-fill and refill American oak barrels before being married together for a finishing period in bourbon barrels.
For those seeking peat whiskies this is one to try, on the nose you'll find seaweed,peat, citrus, and vanilla.
On the tongue, you get the almost medicinal smoky peat along with vanilla and butterscotch and it's a long smokey finish.
At 46% it's a greatmarriage of sweet and peat.
