Another in the Berry Bros. & Rudd Small Batch Series, the Daiuluaine Distillery (owned by Diego) lies close to Aberlour in Speyside and normally produces spirit for the Johnnie Walker blend of Scotch Whisky.
However, on rare occasions, they will release a single malt such as this one and connoisseurs can get the chance to try them.
This offering is bottled at cask strength (46%) with only 1030 bottles being produced it was non chill filtered and no colour added.
The nose finds hints of shortbread with orange and toasted oak whilst on the tongue sultanas and honey along with vanolla notes can be found. The finish is as expected, long with a lot going on.
