Isle of Jura 10 YO Single Malt Whisky - 70cl
One of the new core range of whiskies launched by Isle of Jura in early 2018, initially aged in American white oak bourbon barrels before enjoying a finishing period in Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at 40% ABV.
Jura 10 Year Old is lightly peated producing a rounded and balanced dram with lovely characteristics from the sherry finish. Fruit and dark chocolate are present on the nose and this moves on to the palate with nectarines and more chocolate.
Light golden, yellow in colour, this is a dram well worth investigating.
