The Hanson is a Blended Grain Irish Whiskey, named after J.J. Corry's son in law Gauger Hanson a revenue man who in the 1900's was responsible for inspecting the casks at Kilrush docks.
Blended from three casks of Irish Grain Whiskey from different distilleries between four and ten years old, and all ex-bourbon barrel aged, each cask is selected to build complexity upon the sweet and fruity qualities of the grain whiskey.
Three times distilled this smooth and versatile spirit is great in a cocktail and equally as nice over ice.
Notes of smoke, peat, vanilla, and honey with rich fruts and chocolate on the palate.
