Ledaig 18 Year Aged Single Malt Scotch Whisky - 70 cl
A peaty offering from the Tobermory Distillery this 18 Years Aged offering starts life as new make spirit and gently rests for 16 years in ex-bourbon barrels.
Finally, the last 2 years are spent finishing in old sherry casks, non chill filtered and bottled at 46.3% no colour is needed to achieve the copper gold colour.
On the nose, there's a rich sherried smokiness along with a hint of seaweed and spices.
On the palate, there's herbal smoky notes, orange peel, and coffee with sea salt.
The finish is quite long and smokey with toasted barley notes.
