The Old Pulteney 12 year old is matured in air-dried ex-bourbon casks, and being beside the sea these casks take in the sea air which becomes evident on tasting.
This coastal malt has caramel notes with some citrus and oak. On the nose, there's honey and vanilla with a good length finish.
