Pocketful of Stones - Hell's Stone Cornish Whisky - 70cl
Cornish legend has it that there was once a fearful fight between Spt. Michael and the Devil (who wanted Cornwall for himself) and after a fearful fight the Devil was struck a fateful blow. The stone he was carrying fell to earth and became known as Helston (Hell's Stones) and to this day the locals still celebrate this event.
Aged in oak barrels in the shadow of St. Michael's Mount this 40% distillation has hints of vanilla on the nose with a little oakiness. In the glass the sea is there along with some orange and malt, the finish is fairly long with vanilla and a little spice.
Great over ice and perfect for a cocktail.
