Pusser's Dark Rum Blue Label
Due to the rules on ABV percentage for alcohol distribution to Naval bases, Pusser’s have had a revamp and changed their British Navy Rum 54% to Blue Label Rum, now 40% (the max allowed). It’s still made with the exact same blend of rums, a recipe from the Admiralty, but this is the lower ABV option now.
It’s a lovely, warming rum with flavours of brown and Demerara sugar with caramel-syrupy goodness. There’s some ever so slight notes of sherry and spice too, but it’s really in the background.
It’s a great rum for sipping neat or mixing with a good-quality Cola.
