The first release in the Stories series from Balvenie this is an even fruiter than usual thanks to the mature spirit, that had been resting in ex-bourbon barrels, being finished in extra charred American Oak barrels to extract even more character.
There's notes of oak and vanilla, malty fudge and ginger.
Well worth trying.
