The second release from the recently (2017) opened Torabhaig Distillery on the Ise of Skye. Drawn from small batches of no more than 30 casks according to the distillery.
A heavily peated single malt with a touch of the sea.
On the nose, there's smoke, seaweed and brine, along with subtle vanilla and heather honey.
In the mouth, peat and smokiness mingle with citrus notes, divine.
