York Gin Co. - Old Tom Dry Gin 70cl
A popular style in Victorian times Old Tom with its slightly sweet sweetened flavour fell out of fashion and was overtaken by London Dry Gin. Today there are a few examples of this old-style Gin and this one is outstanding. Using botanicals sourced from hedgerows and the kitchen garden at the Star, Harome, in North Yorkshire including Yorkshire Rose blossom.
This gin has a wonderful nose of Juniper, blossom and warm spice, the taste is superb with hints of Star Anise, liquorice and pepper. Try it with lots of ice and a garnish of peppercorns.
